Merrill Frank Graham, 83, passed away 7:20 a.m. Thursday, November 17, 2016 at his nieces home in Shipman.
Born on August 21, 1933 in St. Louis County, he was the son of Benjamin Franklin and Ada (Baughn) Graham.
A National Guard veteran, he worked as a machinist for Premcor Refining (Clark Oil Refinery) in Hartford before retiring in 1998.
On August 25, 1956 in St. Louis, he married Virginia Ann Wiser. She died on May 21, 2011.
Surviving are a son, Richard (Donna) Graham of Godfrey; daughter, Heidi (Timothy) Lemmon of Bunker Hill; nine grandchildren, Jenna (Shane) Bonebrake, Morgan Lemmon, Elizabeth Lemmon, Benjamin (Jennifer) Graham, Joseph Graham, Eric Graham (Adair Keene), Mark (Tasha) Graham, Joshua Graham, Megan Graham; nine great grandchildren; brother, Glenn (Ceicil) Graham of Mehlville, MO; two sisters, Rosemarie Dawson of Springfield, MO and Lois A. Gillreath of Alton.
His parents; wife; son, Gary Graham; two brothers, John Marion Graham and Paul Ralph Graham; and sister, Francis Imogene Tolle preceded in death.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Monday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
Cremation services will be accorded following the service.
Burial will follow at a later date in Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
