Melony L. Biver, age 48 of Worden, IL, died Friday, September 29, 2023, at Staunton Memorial Hospital in Staunton, IL.
She was born on Tuesday, October 22, 1974, in Alton, IL.
On Saturday, October 14, 2000, she married Keith J. Biver at St. Celcelia Catholic Church, Glen Carbon, IL, who survives.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Melony graduated from Edwardsville High School in 1992. Later received a Bachelor and Masters degree in Psychology from SIUE. For the last 20 years, Melony was an exceptional school psychologist serving students and her school community in the Alton School District. She worked with all grade levels devoting her passion, expertise and attention to detail to speak up for kids. Every challenge before her was met with a plan of action to give the students she worked with a voice through her evaluations, tireless problem-solving, and her leadership in meetings. She loved working in her schools and brought a her unique positive energy at every school she worked in. The love she had for her fellow psychologists and colleagues in the special education department was evident by her presence, the many resources she shared and, her gift in bringing the best candy to team meetings. Melony was committed to helping future school psychologists prepare for their next chapter working with several interns over the years who went on to successfully help their students find their voice. Melony’s greatest legacy will forever be remembered as her dedication, every day, to serving others. Once a Redbird, Always a Redbird. Melony enjoyed vacations to the islands and beaches and was an animal lover who loved the outdoors. She was very active with the St. Paul Lutheran School and Metro-East Lutheran High School, while Allison was a student.

Arrangements are being handled by Dauderman Mortuary, Hamel, IL.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Worden, IL and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Worden, IL.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Worden, IL.
Interment will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Hamel, IL.
Memorial contributions may be made to Turtle Hospital, Marathon, FL; Worden Volunteer Fire Department or Alton High School Transition Scholarship.
