Melissa Lynn Hill Waggoner has moved on to her next adventure. She was promoted on March 27th, 2018, encircled by her beloved family. Miss was born February 23, 1959 in Alton Illinois to Benjamin R. and Bette Gilmore Hill. She was raised in a happy household in Wood River with her three siblings Michael, Patrick, and Melanie. She went to Roxana schools and spent her favorite times with them and her cousins at Roxana pool and park, and in her family’s backyard.
Melissa has three children – Amber Keeney (Doug), Benjamin Waggoner (Crystal), and Ali Waggoner, four grandchildren – Mariah, Ricky and Sophia Rodriguez, and Shawn Grizzle, treasured cousins, fifteen nieces and nephews, and last but not least, her fur babies Scout, Petey and Cali.
A celebration of her life will be held at River View park in Alton at a date to be announced. Condolences may be sent to “The Waggoners” at 5708 Sir Gawain Godfrey Illinois, 62035.
