MaryAnn (Flanigan) Tepen passed away peacefully February 18, 2026, at Evercare of Calhoun in Hardin, Illinois.
She was born January 28, 1936, to Edwin C. and Emma M. (Kamp) Flanigan in Meppen, Illinois.
She married Norbert J. Tepen on May 10, 1958, in Meppen. They enjoyed 58 years together. Together they had one son Edwin Eugene (Christine) Tepen and two grandchildren who were the apple of their eye, Amanda Gene (Robert Gould) Tepen and Adam Mark Tepen. She had one very special cousin, Barbara (Larry) Pohlman who she enjoyed playing with growing up.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed working on the farm with Norbert along with having many adventures and making lots of amazing memories with her two grandkids Amanda and Adam. In later years she and Norbert enjoyed going to country music shows and gambling trips to Tunica, Mississippi. They loved going out to eat and visiting with all their friends along the way.
She was proceeded in death by her husband and parents as well as special aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. at Gress, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Hardin, Illinois. Mass will follow at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph’s Church in Meppen. Burial to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
