Mary Denise Perry, 69, passed away at 9:31 pm on Monday, April 20, 2026 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born on January 13, 1957 in Alton, IL the daughter of Everett Allen and Patricia (Accario) Northway.
Mary married Shane Perry on June 12, 2003 and he survives.
Mary was passionate about recovery. She worked with Narcotics Anonymous and also with the Salvation Army. She loved the beach, swimming and tanning. Mary enjoyed antiques. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, Shane; Mary is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Shana (Perry) and Buddy Carmello, and Ashanti Coleman; five brothers and their spouses, Steve Northway, Mike and Cheryl Northway, John "Nick" and Janice Northway, Keith and Jannie Northway, and Jeff and Athena Northway; two grandchildren, Mario Jones and Maria Jones; many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her mother and father-in-law, Christine and Connie Perry; and two sisters-in-law, Connel Glenn and Marsha Northway.
Visitation will be at held Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 1:00 pm until the time of a Prayer Service at 5:00 pm at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey with Deacon John Bretz officiating.
