Mary Marie (Malfronte) DiFrancisco, 97, passed away at 10:53 p.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Jerseyville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jerseyville.
She was born on November 17, 1923 in Brooklyn, New York and was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Josephine Malfronte.
She married Vincent DiFranciscoin 1946 in Brooklyn, New York and he preceded her in death in 1995.
Mary owned and operated Parkway Food Market for over 20 years and enjoyed crocheting and had quite the collection of angels that she had developed throughout the years.
Surviving are two sons, Gabe DiFrancisco and his companion, Kay Hildred, of Jerseyville and Vincent DiFrancisco of Pennsylvania; as well as eight grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Pasquale DiFrancisco.
Per her wishes, cremation rights have been accorded and no services are planned at this time.
