Mary Majchrzak

Mary Jane Hope Majchrzak, 83, died at 10:31 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Alton Memorial Hospital.  She was born January 20, 1934 in St. Louis, MO the daughter of Wallace and Katherine (Abramovic) Watson.   She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi in St. Louis, MO.   She retired as administrative assistant with the Steak N Shake corporate office.  On August 18, 1952 in St. Louis she married Norman F. Majchrzak and he preceded her in death on March 5, 1987.  Surviving are three daughters; Sandra Majchrzak of Camdenton, MO, Karen Hegger (Steven) of Fenton, MO , Gale Smay (Mark) of Dow and one son; John Majchrzak (Linda) of Albers, IL, six grandchildren; Christopher Hegger, Jennifer Hall, Eric Smay, Andrew Smay, Joel Smay and Michael Majchrzak. Four great grandchildren; Zoe Hall, Elijah Hall, Claire Hegger and Harper Smay, and soon to arrive, Madison Smay, three nephews, three nieces and many loving friends.  She was preceded in death by one sister; Linda Keys.  There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the Animal Rescue of your choice or National Multiple Sclerosis Society.  Additional information and online guest book may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
