Mary Blair

Mary Elizabeth Blair, 94, of Brighton passed away at 4:00 pm on Sat April 7, 2018 at Godfrey, IL. She was born on Oct 21, 1923 in Yates, MO to Seymour & Lucille (Harker) Andrews.

She married Beauford Blair on Jan 29, 1944 in Kansas City, KS. Beauford died Sept 14, 2000.She was an active member of St Paul United Methodist Church and Eastern Star (Brighton & Bunker Hill Chapters).She is survived by sons & daughter in law: Joseph & Ruby Blair of Alton and Jerry Blair of Brighton,  grandchildren: Amanda Elizabeth Blair step-grandchildren: David & Cheryl Thompson, and step-great grandchildren: Danielle Tilton (fiancé Derek Dixon), Adam Tilton and great great granddaughter: Kynlie Muscarella and sister & brother in law Sue & Bill Kruse of Brighton.She was much loved and will be greatly missed and fondly remembered as wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, caregiver, neighbor, and friend to many. Four in her family carry the name Elizabeth in her honor.She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son: John Warren Blair, grandson: Johnnie Dalton Blair and brothers: Howard & Warren “Red” Andrews.Visitation will be 10 – 11 am Tues April 10, 2018 at Targhetta & Wooldridge F H in Brighton  Funeral Services will be 11 am Tues April 10, 2018 at Targhetta & Wooldridge F H in Brighton with Pastor Dala Lawrence officiating.       

Burial will be in the Brighton Cemetery 

Memorial may be made to St Paul United Church of Christ and Shriner’s Hospital.
