Mary Ruppert

Mary C. Ruppert, 67, died January 2, 2018. Born January 14, 1950 in Alton, she was the daughter of Paul and Frances (Wright) Ruppert. Mary was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Godfrey. She had worked in the trust department at First National Bank for 20 years before taking a position as receptionist for Arrow Signs. On November 1, 2000 she married Paul E. Broadway in Godfrey. He survives. Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Raymond Ruppert of Denver, CO, Wayne Ruppert (Debbie) of Godfrey, Vince Ruppert (Kathy), Dean Ruppert (Michelle), Joyce Ruppert, Steven Ruppert (Sarah) all of Fosterburg, and Faye Ruppert of Alton. Seventeen nieces and nephews, Amy Sarabia (Fernando), Brian Ruppert (Shara), Darren Ruppert (Gabby), Vince Ruppert Jr. (Cassie), Bridget Woolsey (Wayne), Jane Ruppert, Laura Alabaugh (Ryan), Phillip Ruppert (April), Adam Ruppert, James Ruppert, Shawna Ruppert (Rusty McDonough), Erin Ruppert, Kyle Ruppert, Victoria Darr (Adam), Richard Ruppert (Kelli), Ellen Grohovena (Kevin), and Daniel Ruppert. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Ruppert. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Father Steven Janoski will officiate.
