Mary A Craycraft, 56, passed away at 9:50 am Sunday October 28, 2012 in Wood River, IL with her family by her side.
She was born in St. Louis, MO, on August 8, 1956 the daughter of the late Richard and Rena (Waggoner) Craycraft.
She married Thomas Rodgers February 12, 1999 in St. Louis, MO. He survives.
She was a cashier at Casey’s General Store and loved going to work and talking with her customers. She enjoyed music and dancing and spending time with friends and family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband; three daughters and their spouse, Tiffany and Tiffany Craycraft-Hamilton, of Wood River, Kari Whitlow of Alton, and Traci Rodgers of Ft. Worth TX; six grandchildren, Alexis Beals, Marty Nikole Craycraft, Serenity Elizabeth Craycraft, Wayne Taylor Jr, Aaron Taylor and Ravinn Rodgers; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters Deboarh Lade of Poplar Bluff, MO, Karen Houge of Poplar Bluff, MO; a brother, Richard Craycraft of WI; and a sister in heart and soul, Patti Castellini of Granite City.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Martin Allen Craycraft; a brother, Martin Craycraft; and a sister Beverly Grubbs.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 10 am until time of service at 11 am on Wednesday October 31, 2012 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton, with Rev. Roger Bruce officiating.
Per her wishes cremation rites will be accorded.
Memorials may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
