Marsha King, 77, passed away at 8:15am on Friday, December 8, 2023, at her residence. She was born on July 28, 1946, in Alton, the daughter of the late John and Vera (Smith) Cox. She married Gerald “Jerry” King on August 21, 1962, in Alton, and he preceded her in death on December 15, 2022. Survivors include a daughter and son in law: Dawn Renae and Michael Baysden of Brighton, three sons and daughters in law: Ricky Lee and Kim King of Jerseyville, Jerry Wayne and Crystal King of Brighton, Brian Keith and Becky King of Brighton, ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and many other extended family and friends.
A homemaker, Marsha enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister: Nancy Embry and a brother: Stan Cox.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
