Marlie Rae Baca, 3 months, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016, in the emergency room at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 23, 2016, in Alton, the daughter of Donovan Baca and Rosemary Smith. In addition to her parents, survivors include one brother: Hayden Baca of Wood River, maternal grandparents: Monte and Mary “Mimzy” Cope of Wood River, Terry Smith Jr. of Granite City, her paternal grandparents: Henry Baca of Belleville, her maternal great grandparents: Janice Lafferty of Alton, Beverly Timpe of Dorchester, Steve and Rhonda Cope of Elsah, her paternal great grandparents: Terry and Debbie Smith, Sr. of Alton, her aunts and uncles: Amber Perkins, Hope “TT” Smith, Terry Wayne Smith, Billie Smith, Robert Baker, Brandon Baker, Kenny Smith, Christian Baca, many great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother: Belinda Ambergey and her maternal great grandfather: Danny Fish.
Memorial visitation will be from 11am until time of memorial services at 1pm on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River.
Memorials are suggested to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
