Mark Daniel “Critter” Crader, 51, of Bunker Hill, IL, died at 7:00 a.m. Thurs. Dec. 4, 2014 at St. Clare’s in Alton, IL.
He was born Jan. 21, 1963 in Alton, IL to the late Samuel & Glenda (Rush) Crader.
On Apr. 24, 1992, he and Neva Beth Miller were married in East Alton, IL. She survives in Bunker Hill.
Critter was a truck driver for Hamel Steel Service for 26 years until illness forced his retirement. He loved spending time with his family, walking the woods mushroom hunting, fishing, NASCAR & football games.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: a step-son, Jason (Rachael Hymer) Glenn of St. John, MO, 4 daughters, Leslie (Brandon Shaw) Crader of Alton, Markie (Sean) Snead of Iberia, MO, Ariel Crader & Brandie Crader of Bunker Hill, 4 grandchildren, Kyleigh Brown, Brayden Shaw, Emma Glenn & Abigail Shaw, 6 brothers, Leo Payne of East Alton, Samuel Delbert Crader of East Alton, David (Sue) Crader of Manteno, IL, Doug Crader of Meadowbrook, IL, Steve (Kim) Crader of Bunker Hill and Harley (Donna) Crader of Jerseyville, IL and 3 sisters, Deborah (Clay) Donaldson of Wood River, Janey Coleman of Centreville, IL and Kathryn Stark of Litchfield, IL and all his “rental kids”.
Visitation will be from 2:00 until time of services at 4:00 p.m. Sun. Dec. 7, 2014 at Paynic Home for Funerals with Rev. Dan Smith officiating.
Memorials may be made to the family for the benefit of his children.
