Mark Allen Porter, 60, passed away at midnight, Saturday, May 21, 2022, at his home in Grafton.
He was born in Alton, Illinois on August 20, 1961, to the late Gerald “Munk” and Joan “Ma” (Porter) Staton.
Mark was a lifelong resident of Grafton and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed working on anything that involved an engine, which led him to own and operate his own Small Engine Repair Shop.
Surviving is a son, Christopher Porter of Wood River, IL.; a daughter, Stephanie Porter of Louisville, KY.; a cousin, Steven (Cindy) Hayes of Grafton; and an aunt, Barbara Williams of Beaverton, OR.
In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew “Mater” Porter.
Per his wishes, Mark was cremated and a private service will be held at a later date.
