Marjorie "Margie" C. Thomae, 79, of Shipman passed away at 12:57 pm on Sun Oct 21, 2018 at home. She was born on May 26, 1939 in Bear Creek, WI to Ernest & Leora (Heidke) Mueller.
She married Gerald Philip Thomae on Sept 28, 1963 in Lebanon, WI. Gerald passed away on Oct 16, 2012.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Kimberlee Thomae of Shipman and Jillaine Thomae of Bentonville, AR, 2 sisters & brothers in laws: Judy (John) Conrad of Alton,IL and Shari (Gordon) Foes of Ft Atkinson, WI and brother & sister in law: Mark (Mary) Mueller of Neena, IL.
She worked at the Macoupin County Health Department as a Registered Nurse.
She was a charter member of the Area Ambulance Service and served as one of their Directors.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Visitation will be 4-8 p, Wed Oct 24, 2018 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Shipman where she was a member and an organist.
Funeral Services will be 10 am Thurs Oct 24, 2018 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Shipman on with RevAl Horst officiating.
Burial will be in St Denis Cemetery in Shipman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shipman Unit of the Area Ambulance Service or the American Cancer Society.
