Marjorie Moore

Marjorie A. Moore, age 81, formerly of Godfrey, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Abbington Memorial Hospital in Abbington, PA.She was born January 15, 1935, in Boston, MA, the daughter of Clifford and Margaret (Brown) Connell. She graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, in 1956. Marjorie married Thomas Moore on November 10, 1956, in Medford, MA. He preceded her in death on July 13, 2013.Marjorie had worked for Paul Lauschke & Associates Real Estate for over twenty-five years. She then served as a volunteer at St. Anthony Health Care OSFM in Alton. Marjorie had been a member of Lockhaven Country Club. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Godfrey.She is survived by four sons and their wives, Michael Moore of Reno, NV, Tim and Julia Moore of Phoenix, AZ, Steve and Amy Moore of Reno, NV, and David and Ginny Moore of Glendale, MO; nine grandchildren, Danny, Joe, Emily and husband Nick, Holly, Jack, Tom, Chris, Katherine, and Danielle; one great granddaughter Adaline; and many other relatives and friends.In addition to her husband, Thomas; she is preceded in death by her parents, and Sister Peggy Hanley of Malden, MA.Visitation will be held Friday, December 16, 2016, from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.Mass will be held Saturday, December 17, 2016, at 10:00 am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Godfrey with Fr.
