Margaret VanConia

Margaret “Beth” VanConia, nee Wheatcraft, 89, of O’Fallon, IL, born August 2, 1936, in Canton, OH, passed away Monday, December 22, 2025, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Beth was a devoted member of Saint Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, O’Fallon, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Margaret, nee Belding, Wheatcraft; and her brother, Dean (Ron) Wheatcraft.

Beth is survived by her two children, Brent (Ann) VanConia and Dianne VanConia; her three grandchildren, Matt (Grace) VanConia, Elle (Chad) Ruhwedel, Abby (Chase) Hoyt; four great-grandchildren; her sister, Pat (Tom) Moses; and her dear friend, Sister Judy McKenna.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Saint Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, O’Fallon, IL.

Funeral: A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Saint Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, O’Fallon, IL, with Fr. Nick Junker officiating.
