Margaret Racine Isringhausen, 84, passed away 9:41 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at her daughter's residence.
Born in White Hall on December 22, 1930, she was the daughter of Ernest R. and Lena Margaret (Grisham) Bryant.
A 1948 graduate of Jersey Community High School, she enjoyed ceramics, embroidering and cooking. She was a member of the Holiday Shores Baptist Church, past member of the South Ridge Baptist Church in Jefferson City, MO; former Sunday School teacher for 33 years at 1st Southern Baptist Church in Meadowbrook and then 10 additional years at Holiday Shores.
On May 14, 1950 in Rosedale, she married Franklin Jesse Isringhausen. He died July 4, 2012.
Surviving are five sons, Dwayne (Sharon) Isringhausen of Mountain Grove, MO, Dwight (Michele) Isringhausen of Olathe, KS, Dwitt (Linda) Isringhausen of Bunker Hill, Dwell (Angela) Isringhausen of Jefferson City, MO, Dwynn (Raymie) Isringhausen of East Alton; five daughters, Margaret "Racine" Woolway of Cassville, MO, Aloha (Terry) Gaye-Burgess of Conroe, TX, Rosella (Doug) Thien of Wood River, Kayla (David) Voyles of Moro, Indire (Ocie) Steiner of Prairietown; 48 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; brother, Donald Bryant of Columbia.
Preceding in death were her parents; husband; and a sister, Rhea Phillips.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until time of service at 11:30 a.m. at the Holiday Shores Baptist Church, 6521 Moro Rd, Holiday Shores. Pastor Bob Burton will officiate.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to the Holiday Shores Baptist Church.
