Marena L. Turner, 58, passed away 9:20 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2017 at her residence.
Born in in Alton on August 28, 1958, she was the daughter of Homer and Alfrieda (Kennedy) Monroe.
She had been a Store Manager for Casey's General Store for 13 years.
Surviving are her "significant other", Dana Bryant of Alton; daughters, Rechelle Monroe of Wood River, Tiffani (Tim) Oster of East Alton; 15 grandchildren, Ryan Kelley, Chelsea Turner, Triston Turner, Dylen Oster, Zach Oster, Danille Pratt, William Monroe, Jr., Austin Outhouse, Meadow Mueller, Michael Mueller, Brandon Bell, Madison Bryant, Kaitlyn Bryant, Cameron Bryant, Devon Barboza; four great grandchildren, Chase Kelley, Maci Kelley, Scott Pratt, Haley Pratt; brothers, William Monroe, Sr of Rosewood Heights, Ralph Monroe of Carlyse; and sister, Emily Wells of Gaiinesville, FL.
Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Daniel Turner; and brothers, Preston, Claude, Phil and Don Monroe.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
