Mae Landreth

Mae Dorothy Landreth, 98, of Bunker Hill, IL, died at Litchfield Health and Rehab Center, Litchfield, IL on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at 5:30 am.  She was born January 1, 1925, in East Alton, IL to George Herman Ringering & Yetrude Fannie Olson Ringering.  She married Albert Clyde "Pappy" Landreth on July 3, 1949 in East Alton, IL.  He preceded her in death on March 12, 1999.  She was a grocer for Pappy's Market.  Mae enjoyed cooking, gardening and quilting.  She is survived by her daughter, Susan Landreth of Bunker Hill, IL, step sons, Terry (Ellen) Landreth of Bunker Hill, IL, Eddie Landreth of Bunker Hill, IL, Robert (Dolly) Landreth of Bunker Hill, IL, grandchildren, David Landreth, Rebecca (Robert) Brown, Ron Landreth and great grandchild, Hunter Brown.  Mae was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, siblings, William Ringering, Pearl Herring, James Ringering, Carl Ringering, Louis Ringering and Edward Ringering.  Friends may call on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.  Funeral services are Friday, August 25, 2023 at 10:00 am at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill, IL.  Burial will be at Bunker Hill Cemetery, Bunker Hill, IL.  Memorials are suggested to Treehouse Wildlife Center, 23956 Green Acres Rd, Dow, IL 62022.  Anyone wishing to send an online condolence may do so at www.kravanyafuneral.com.
