Madi K. Mikhayel, 87, of Bethalto, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2020.
He was born in Al Basa, Palestine, on February 2, 1933, the son of the late Khalil and the late Mariam (Audi) Mikhayel. He married Hajilee Fakhoury, she preceded him in death in August of 2004.
Madi was a superintendent of a construction company. He enjoyed playing cards, being outside and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include, his children, Kamil (Kelly) Mikhayel of Edwardsville, Mary (Jocelyn) Alves of Windsor, Canada, and Kamilia (Ghassan) Raya of Edwardsville; ten grandchildren, Madi (Casey), Andrew, Dunya, Allyn, Hajilee, Kevin, Kayla, Madelyn, Mona and Maha; and two great-grandchildren, Aria and Max Khalil.
All services will be private for the family. A private burial will take place at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
