NAME:  M. Gertie Isringhausen   AGE: 99

DIED: 1:57 a.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 at her home

BORN: September 9, 1918 in Piasa, IL.  

OCCUPATION: Retired cook at Jersey Community Hospital. She worked hard all her life and was the oldest living member of the First Baptist Church of Jerseyville. She loved to play dominoes with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren. She loved to quilt, do crafts, and was an avid Cardinals fan. She made homemade Christmas ornaments for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was a noble grand of the Rebekah Lodge #263 in Jerseyville and was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Jerseyville by participating with the quilting lady’s and the Bazaar. Gertie had 122 descendants and 117 are still living.

MARRIED:  Laverne F. Isringhausen (Died: May 18, 1972)  

DATE & PLACE: December 23, 1939 in St. Charles, MO.  

VISITATION: 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Jerseyville

FUNERAL: 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Jerseyville

CLERGY: Pastor Brent Meyer

INTERMENT:  Medora Cemetery

MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Jerseyville
