Lyndall Laverne Huff, 66, of Carlinville, passed away at 7:45 pm on Sat Nov 3, 2018 at the scene of an automobile accident 2 miles south of Chesterfield. He was born on Aug 7, 1952 to Harold L & Geraldine (Bister) Huff.
Lyndall married Janice Dell Wilson on August 22, 1976. She passed away September 29, 2016 in Germany.
Lyndall graduated from Southwestern High school in 1970. He worked at Diamond Meat Packing, Valley Steel, CISCO, and lastly Prairie Farms, retiring from there in February, 2018. Lyndall raised rex rabbits for years, enjoyed woodworking and deer hunting.
He is survived by his son Michael (Karen) Huff of Gross-Zimmern, Germany; step-daughter Melissa (Lloyd) Sanson of Gillespie, grandchildren Lea, Daniella, Emily, and Paul Huff; Robbie (Whitney Hollis) Sanson; Keshena (Tony) Warfold, and Karac Sanson. He is survived by three (3) great-grandchildren Adeline, Caroline, and Dexter.
Also surviving are a brother Kenny (Rosie) Huff of Chesterfield; Sister Lois White and her companion Randy Link of Carlinville, and several nieces and nephews.
Lyndall was preceded in death by his wife, Janice; parents Harold and Geraldine Huff, Sister Joyce Huff; brother in law Bud White and nephew Bryan Huff.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 9th, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Mt Pleasant Baptist Church in Medora. Funeral service will be held immediately following visitation with Pastor Rob Cleeton officiating.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Medora Unit of the Area Ambulance Service or American Cancer Society.
