Lucinda Terry

Lucinda Terry, 84, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.Born Jan. 10, 1940 in Benton, KY, she was a daughter of Fred and Nina Anderson.She married Elbert J. Terry Nov. 3, 1956 in Corinth, MS.  He preceded her in death May 13, 2010.Lucinda was known to her family as an excellent cook.  She dearly loved her children, Melissa (David) Dixon of Edwardsville, Dawn (Gary Panapinto) Terry of Wood River, and Brian (Sarah) Terry of Moro; her grandchildren, Justin (Traci) Click, Staci (Mike) Coles, and Sara Dixon; and her 5 great grandchildren, Reagan, Sophia, Carter, Caroline, and Claire.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Carolyn Sterling; and 4 brothers, Bobby, Wayne, Ricky, and Charlie Anderson.Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7 at the Rose Lawn Memory Gardens Chapel.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.Arrangements handled by Paynic Home for Funerals, with an online guestbook at www.paynicfh.com.
