Lucinda Chapman Lucinda “Cindy” Lou Chapman, 74, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, November 6, 2017. She was born September 2, 1943, in Alton, Illinois, daughter of the late Howard M. and Josephine E. (Keiser) Cathorall.On August 20, 1966, Cindy married Donald Ray Chapman, in Bethalto. He survives.Prior to retirement, Cindy was Key Punch Operator for Union Pacific Railroad. She was a member of Lovejoy United Presbyterian Church in Wood River. She was also a member of The Red Hatters and Railroad Retirees. She was a past Cub Scout den leader, earning a “Wood Badge”.In addition to her husband, survivors include her son and daughter in law, Ross; daughter in law Chonna Chapman; three grandchildren; one brother Howard Cathorall and sister in law, Tracy Cathorall of O’Fallon.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Henry Cathorall, and one sister, Becky Cathorall.A private graveside service will take place at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.Memorials may be given to The Alzheimer’s Association.Full Obituary and online condolences can be found at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com
