Louise F. Jones, 93, passed away 6:05 p.m., Thursday, February 1, 2018 at her residence, surrounded by her family.
Born on January 24, 1925 in Patterson, IL, she was the daughter of Bernice Barrow of Roodhouse.
Louise had been a press operator for Alton Laundry for 22 years before retiring. She enjoyed watching Cardinal baseball and spending time with her family.
Her husband, Byrd Jones preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol Davis of Cottage Hills; seven granddaughters; 10 grandsons; many great and great great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; five children, Leroy Quigley, Connie Pearson, Louise Wright, Howard Coonrod and Buddy Quigley; granddaughters, Cathy and Bobbie Jo; grandson, Clinton; two great grandsons, Christopher and Jared.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m., Sunday, February 11, at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Rev. Betty Carlisle will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of expenses. A sincere thank you is extended to Sin City Disciples Motorcycle Club for efforts to raise proceeds for the family.
