Loretta J. (Daniels) Drake, Age 74, of Jerseyville died Monday October 10, 2018 at her home. She was the daughter of Everett and Emma Daniels.
Loretta married Floyd Drake on June 17, 1972. Together they shared 47 years of marriage. Loretta worked many jobs before finally settling on a career in Cosmetology. She loved and was devoted in faith to Jehovah. Through faith she loved life and spending time with her vast family. She loved spending whole summers camping on the banks of the river and fishing. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Loretta is survived by her husband Floyd Drake, 3 children: Floyd Drake jr. (peewee), Wilma Herder, John Drake. 5 grandchildren: Mike, Julie, JT, Anastasia, Douglas, and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 4 brothers and 3 sisters-in-law. Clifford (Gerry) Daniels, Woody (Lois) Daniels, Raymond Daniels, and Robert (Donna) Daniels. 2 sisters: Kimberly Roberts and Sharon Acree. 1 brother-in-Law: Mike lay, 1 sister-in-law: Colleen Daniels, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, her 1st husband: Leo Hill, 1 son: Richard, 3 sisters: Camilla Waltrip, Nevada Lay, and Judy Daniels. 2 brothers: George Daniels and Richard Daniels.
There will not be a viewing or graveside service. However, A memorial will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday October 20, 2018 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1257 N. State St., Jerseyville, IL. 62052.
