Loren Franklin Moreland, 96, of Dow, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Alton Memorial Hospital.
He was born on August 17, 1927, in Taylor Springs, IL, the son of the late Charlie and Gertrude Fern (Lock) Moreland.
Loren married Judy Ann Hurst. She preceded him in death.
He worked at Lockhaven Country Club before retiring.
Loren is survived by his son Joe (Judy) Moreland of Woodriver; step sons Sid (Debbie) Fleury and Bob (Eva) Fluery; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; brother Elvis Moreland.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; eleven brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of funeral service at 11 am on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton.
Burial will follow at Medora Cemetery.
