Lois W. Oller, 98, passed away 5:50 a.m., Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Rosewood care Center in Edwardsville.
Born on August 16, 1918 in Zalma, MO, she was the daughter of Grover and Nellie (Perkins) Miller.
She had been employed 38 years as an inspector for the Olin Corporation before retiring. She enjoyed bowling with her husband and was a member of the Wood River VFW Post 2859 Ladies Auxiliary.
On September 10, 1940 in St. Charles, MO, she married Oscar E. Oller. He died July 25, 2003.
Surviving are a brother, Jacob "Rhodi" (Edith) Miller of Wood River; two sisters, Glenora Sitze of Marble Hill, MO, Nadine Hendrick of Ft. Myers, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; brother, Hudie Miller; and two sisters, Arneta Davis and Naomi Foster.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Pastor Tony Wetzel will officiate.
Memorials may be made to Wood River VFW Post 2859 or a charity of one's choice.
