Lisa Walker

Lisa Lorraine Walker, 58, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 4:52 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.  She was born January 24, 1966, in Granite City, Illinois, a daughter of the late Ronald and Norma (Young) Angle.  She married James Walker on April 23, 1999, in Granite City, Illinois and he passed away on July 14, 2013.  Lisa cherished her grandchildren and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with all of her family.  She enjoyed her days of sewing, cooking, watching her soap operas and was a fan of Scooby Doo.  She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Jake Taylor of Glen Carbon, Illinois; a son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas and Kara Angle of St. Louis, Missouri; three grandchildren, Skyler Whitlock, Gavin Whitlock and Jackson Taylor; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Cindy and Buck Bazzell of Centralia, Illinois, Sandra Adams of Granite City, Illinois and Dana Mead of Benld, Illinois; the McCall sisters and their families; the K.P. family; many nieces; nephews; other extended family and many friends.

In celebration of her life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon with Pastor David Denton officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon.  Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association and may be accepted at the funeral chapel.  www.irwinchapel.com
