Linda Kay Wunderlich, 68, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
She was born on April 12, 1957, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Paul and Pearl (Coonrod) Koeneman.
On December 30, 1982, Linda married the love of her life, Michael “Mike” A. Wunderlich, in St. Charles County, Missouri.
Linda was a former member of Immaculate Conception. She had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed cooking, dove hunting, fishing, deer hunting, and most of all she loved her dog Cooper. Known for her warm spirit and joyful presence, she cherished spending time with others and found great joy in her role as “Gammy". She was known as the "Mother to all."
She is survived by her devoted husband, Mike; three children: Tony (Amy) Wunderlich of West Alton, MO; Nick (Autumn) Wunderlich of West Alton, MO; and Lindsey (Dylan) Koviak of Brighton, IL; four beloved grandchildren: Owen Wunderlich, Millie Wunderlich, Willow Wunderlich, and Aspen Koviak; her brother, Mark (Michelle Wood) Koeneman of Godfrey, IL; sister, Denise (Mark Osborne) Koeneman of Dorchester, IL; and sister, Kathlene Wunderlich of Smithton, IL., and an Aunt "Linny" to many neices and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Anna Koeneman; and her brother-in-law, Alan Wunderlich.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey, Illinois.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
