Linda Louise Stormer, 75, died at 2:10 p.m. Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Mercy Hospital South in Saint Louis, Missouri.
She was born on February 13, 1948 in St. Charles, Missouri, one of four children born to the late Howard Edward Husley Sr. and Beatrice (Ray) Husley.
She married the love of her life, Donald Wayne Stormer Sr. on December 7, 1968 in Alton. Together, they raised their four children and shared in many wonderful memories with one another throughout their 48 years of marriage, prior to his death on August 12, 2017.
Shortly after their marriage, they moved to Elsah, where they remained for 17 years, ultimately settling in Delhi.
Linda centered her life around her family and was a devoted wife and loving and proud mother to her four children.
Surviving are her children, Tammy Stormer of Delhi, Joyce Stormer of Brownstown, Sarah Stormer of Delhi and Donald Wayne Stormer Jr. of Delhi; as well as a sister and brother in-law, Jane and Terry Polzin of Black Jack, Missouri.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin Ben Hulsey and Howard Edward Hulsey Jr.
She was laid to rest alongside her husband at a private ceremony at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville was entrusted with arrangements.
