Linda Ruth Marmino, age 66, passed away on November 11, 2016 surrounded by her family.
She was born to John (Yono) Marion Marmino and Ida Mae Averitt Moore in Wood River, Illinois on July 5, 1950.
Linda attended East Alton Wood River Community High School where she was a gifted athlete and student. She went on to become a terminal manager for Ryder Inc for many years in Memphis, TN and Seattle, WA. Linda was also a talented softball pitcher for several area women’s leagues in her youth.
More importantly, Linda was a beloved sister to Diane Marmino (her twin) of Alton IL, Donna (Marmino) Endraske of St. Louis, MO and Christine (Marmino) Kelley of Piasa IL, Her intelligence and sense of humor inspired us all and her loss is immense.
Linda is survived by her three sisters, brother in laws Michael Endraske and William B. Kelley, numerous cousins and friends, an uncle, Sam (Buck) Marmino of Quincy, Illinos, and aunts, Kathleen Eubanks of St. Louis Mo, and Jeanette Marmino of Godfrey, IL and Patsy Moore of Piasa, IL.
Linda requested a private burial service for immediate family at Valhalla Memorial Park.
