Linda Lance

Linda Anice Lance, 80, of Granite City, IL, died at 8:35 p.m. Wed. Nov. 5, 2025 at her home.She was born Sept. 13, 1945 in Newport, AR to the late Mabel Nadine (Layton) and Kenneth Ray West Sr.On Oct. 27, 1972, she and Jim Lance were married in Granite City. He preceded her in death in 2001.Linda had been a Team Leader for CPI, retiring after 30 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Her grandson, Oliver, became her best buddy in the couple of years.She is survived by 3 children, David Allen Millsap of Norfolk, VA, Darron (Denise) Keith Millsap of Cuba, MO, and Christina Michelle Scroggins of Sullivan, MO, 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 4 siblings, Kenneth Ray (Sheila) West Jr. of Edmond, OK, David Brian (Gulena) West of Sullivan, MO, Pamela Sue (Dan Digar) Crummitt of Granite City, and Patricia Ann West of Park Hills, MO.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Derrick Millsap, a son-in-law, Travis Eugene Scroggins, and a grandson, Jon Michael West.The family will hold a memorial service at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the Clark Avenue Church of Christ, 2134 Clark Avenue, Granite City, IL 62040.Arrangements with online information and guestbook through Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory may be found at www.wojstrom.com.
