Linda Harbaugh

Linda L. Harbaugh, 70, of Alton, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025, at LaBella of Alton.

She was born in Alton, IL, on June 10, 1955, the daughter of James "Jim" Cleveland and Alma Rose (Mason) Jones. Linda married John F. Harbaugh, Sr. on March 17, 1983 in Alton. He preceded her in death on February 12, 1991.

Linda was a member of Brown St. Baptist Church of Alton. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, watching cooking shows, and on-line shopping. Most of all, she cherished time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Kimberly (Dustin) Wiegand of Wood River, Rosey Jones of Alton, Janet (Eric) Oettle of Alton, Amanda Harbaugh of Alton, John (Stacey) Harbaugh of Alton, and Anna Dizmang-Jones of Alton; siblings, Brenda Powers of Troy, IL, and James "Jimmy" (Sherlene) Jones, Jr. of Missouri; fifteen grandchildren, CeeCee (Dylan) Jackson, Brior (Megan) Wiegand, Abby (William) McLemore, Makayla (Teddy) Graham, Xavior Jones, Eian Harbaugh, Rosa Jones, Katie Wiegand, James Harbaugh, Peyton Wiegand, Mia Wiegand, Quinn Wiegand, Jerzee Wiegand, and Loretta Wiegand; and several great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, John, she was preceded in death by her fiance, Robert "Bob" Dizmang; a son, Stephen Link; and a grandson, Mason Harbaugh.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 4 to 7 pm, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Inurnment will take place at a later date, at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.

Memorials are suggested to the family to help with expenses.
