Linda Kay Allen, 78, of Brighton, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Jerseyville Nursing and Rehab.
She was born on December 17, 1945, in Springfield, the daughter of the late August and Lena (Jurgens) Theilen.
Linda married Ken Allen on November 2, 1968, in Pleasant Plains, IL. They cherished 55 years of marriage.
She was a devoted member of Faith Lutheran Church in Godfrey.
Linda is survived by her husband, Ken; daughter Christine (Paul) Schmittling; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Theilen, Joyce Boehme, Merle Theilen, Roger Theilen, and Larry Theilen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Lena; siblings Lois Selinger, Alice Walter, Wayne Theilen, Kenneth Theilen, and Paul Theilen.
Visitation will be held from 9 am until the time of funeral service at 11 am on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton.
Graveside services will be held following the funeral at Farmington Cemetery in Pleasant Plains.
