Lillian Mae Custer, 91, died at 2:26 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at her home.
She was born May 19, 1934 in Alton, the daughter of the late Madeline (Anderson) Howard. Lillian worked for many years in the central supply with OSF St. Anthony’s Hospital.
On May 12, 1953 in Wrights, IL she married Donald Custer Sr., and he preceded her in death on September 18, 2009.
Surviving are two sons, Donald Custer Jr. (Kim) of Brighton, Troy Custer (Linda) of Harrodsburg, KY, four grandchildren, Donnie Custer III, Tiffany Custer, Brett Huddleston, Ashley Custer, 10 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, four brothers, Jerry Howard, Frank Howard, David Howard, Terry Howard and one son in law, Tom Huddleston.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Cheryl Huddleston, one brother, Bill Howard and one sister, Peggy Partridge.
