Lila Louise Myers, 93, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Alhambra Care Center under the care of Residential Hospice.
She was born on February 28, 1931, in Roodhouse, Illinois, the daughter of August and Catherine (Herron) Lawson. She married Paul Myers on June 1, 1971 in Alton, Illinois, he preceded her in death.
Lila worked in the healthcare field as a Registered Nurse.
She is survived by her children, Steven (Renee) Kleffner of Edwardsville, Gregory Kleffner of Wisconsin, and Phillip Kleffner of Bunker Hill; two sisters, Bonnita Martin of Woodston, IL, and Jane (Harold) McMillan of Jacksonville, IL; eleven grandchildren, Angi (Brian) Mueller, Jamie (Chris) Massey, Mari Singer, Leslie Singer, Sarah (Jake) Nettesheim, Brian (Meghan) Kleffner, Eric Kleffner, Jessica Cauley, Jennifer Cauley, Jeremy Cauley, and Jason Cauley; twenty great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, and husband, Paul, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Rochelle Kleffner, and Rhonda Cauley; and a grandson Bradley Kleffner.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, from 10 am until time of service at 1 pm, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Pastor Terry McKinzie will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
