Leslie Rigsbey, 62, passed away at 1:18am on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at SSM Healthcare in Fenton, Missouri. She was born on July 25, 1955, in Alton, the daughter of the late Leslie Lee and Beatrice (Brown) Welker. She married Dana Rigsbey on August 30, 1974, in Cottage Hills, and he survives. Other survivors include a son: David Rigsbey of Wood River and a sister in law: Cindy Welker of Maryville.
Leslie was formerly employed at Eastwood Elementary as a secretary for many years prior to her retirement in 2017. Leslie was a Longaberger consultant for over twenty – five years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Lori Kay Rigsbey and a brother: Jeff Welker.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 10am until time of funeral services at 12pm on Friday, March 2, 2018, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
