Leo E. Lanham II, 55, died expectantly Tuesday, February 28, 2017. Born February 25, 1962 in Alton, he was the son of Rena (Austin) Lanham of Alton and the late Leo E. Lanham I. Leo graduated from Marquette Catholic High School class of 1980 and attended SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. He loved fishing and woodworking, enjoyed cooking, camping, and raising plants, especially aloe plants with his Grandma Lanham. He retired as owner/operator of Aqua Pets in 2003. Surviving are one son, Timothy Lanham, one daughter, Colleen (Corey) Smith, two granddaughters, Bryleigh and Aria, one brother, Mike (Christy) Lanham of O’Fallon, MO, two sisters, Joan Kluwe of Alaska and Jean (Rick) Lanham-Curvey of Alton and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Private services were held at Gent Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Atrium Hotel.
