Lawrence O. Sitton, 63, peacefully passed away at 10:38 pm Friday February 10, 2017 at his son’s home surrounded by family and friends.
He was born on July 12, 1953 the son of Harold “Smokey” and Mable (Adkins) Sitton.
Lawrence was employed as an Electrician at the Olin Corporation for many years. He was a member of the Dream Weavers M.C. and the Civil Air Patrol (C.A.P). He enjoyed traveling, riding his motorcycle and fishing.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Crystal Sitton of Alton; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Debbie Titchenal of South Carolina and Karen and Chris Brueggeman of Godfrey; a brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Debbie Sitton of Bunker Hill; two grandsons, Logan and Ethan Sitton; and many nieces and nephews.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ralph Sitton.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday February 17, 2017 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at the Elias Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.
