Laurence Sharos

Dr. Larry Sharos of Jerseyville, IL died on March 30, 2024. He was born to Hyman Cohn and Jeane Kochinsky and lived in Chicago on Kimball Ave until 1957 when his family bought a new home in Evergreen Park, IL. Dr. Sharos attended SIU School of Dental Medicine before practicing dentistry both as a sole medical professional, and for the US Army reserves retiring with rank of Colonel. Larry enjoyed being outdoors, going for runs and later taking walks. He loved his dogs and took care of many of them during his life. He was proud of his military service and becoming a dentist. Survived by brothers David, Phil, John and Chris Sharos and son Brad Sharos.  No public services are scheduled.  Kravanya Funeral Home is in charge.
