Larry Lynn Jackson, 57, formerly of Jerseyville, died at 7:48 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at St. Louis University Hospital.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 28, 1966, and grew up in Jerseyville, graduating in 1984 from Jersey Community High School.
He attended Illinois College in Jacksonville and the University of Arizona, and was currently employed in the warehouse at Amazon in Edwardsville.
In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and landscaping.
He is survived by his life partner of more than 30 years, Matthew Fisher of Godfrey; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Dean and Hazel Irene (Lenington) Jackson; a sister, Bonnie Jackson; and a brother, Lyndel Lee Jackson.
Visitation will be from noon until time of funeral services at 1 p.m. on Friday at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville.
Memorials may be given to his family in care of the funeral home.
