Larry Dean Davis, 70 of Belleville, Illinois, left this Earth on December 9, 2025. He was born August 3, 1955 in Pittsfield, IL to Mary Carter Blish and Robert Carter.
He was a dedicated father and husband for many years, always sharing and teaching sports and his love of all things outdoors. He had a contagious laugh and a great smile. He enjoyed spending time hunting morels, deer and squirrels, fishing, coaching, and playing basketball. He worked for Bland Construction for many years and finished his career with the City of Ferguson and the Salvation Army.
He is survived by a daughter, Diana Simpson, a stepson, Brian Beauchamp, granddaughters, Ella and Chloe Beauchamp, sister Connie Thomas, sister Becky Rauch, sister Sherry(Terry) Stoner, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, brother, Jimmie Blish, brother Gail Davis, and brother Kevin Carter.
He will be missed by many. A private celebration of life will be held at the Sportsman' Club Trap House on April 26, 2026 from 1-4 pm in the Spring when the morels are popping. He would have loved that.
