Larry Allen Hand, 73, passed away at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at his home.
Born Apr. 29, 1945 in Woodburn, IL, he was a son of Alfred and Hallie (Bostick) Hand.
Larry worked as parts manager for Albrecht-Hamlin Chevrolet in Wood River.
He married Rita L. Gray June 26, 1965 in Bethalto. She passed away in 2008.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Lesa Hand and Dennis Stanford of Rosewood Heights and Stacey and William Haas of East Alton; four grandchildren, Nicholas Hand, Mitchell (Jamie) Haas, Sammy (Ashley) Haas, and Maggie Haas; a great grandchild, Alastor Haas; a step grandchild, Tony (Heather) Stanford and their children, Catherine and Kimberlyn; two brothers, Robert (Jane) Hand and Richard (Linda) Hand; and four sisters, Gloria (Junior) Daves, Dolores Null, Virginia Hausman, and Joyce Shelby.
Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 28 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wood River from 10 a.m. until services begin at 11 a.m. Pastor David Schultz will officiate.
Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
