Lance Duane Voumard, 61, died at 9:14 a.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at OSF St. Anthony’s Hospital. He was born March 16, 1956 in Alton the son of the late Roy Robert and Ada (Patsink) Voumard. He enjoyed playing pool and collecting and building miniature farm equipment. Surviving are one son, Tony Chappelear (Sarah) of Pocahontas, AR, two grandchildren, Isabella and Mackenzie Chappelear , one brother, Larry Voumard (Diane) of Alton, three sisters, Bonnie Shaw (Michael) of Dorsey, Sharon Wild of Brighton, Lavada Belchik (George) of Jefferson City, MO and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother in law, Gary Wild. Private family services will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Gent Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
