Krystal Bamford Brinkman - Born March 9th 1972 in Wood River, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, February 19th at 1:55 a.m. peacefully at Evelyn’s House in Creve Coeur, Missouri at the age of 53 after a hard-fought battle with breast cancer.
She married her husband Tom on July 6th, 1996, in Alton, Illinois and they grew to a family of 4 with their son Andrew and daughter Libby.
She is survived by her dad James Warren of Alton, three brothers James Warren of Edwardsville, Bill Culver (Yoli) of Barlett, Illinois and Tom Bamford Jr. along with many brother and sister in-laws, as well as cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Diane Warren, her biological father Thomas and sister Wendy Bamford.
Krystal held many different jobs over the years with her vast experience and talents and was very mechanically inclined.
She worked for Olin Corporation for 10 years before deciding to stay at home to help raise her family when Drew was born. She then went to work at BD sports and then started her own photography company which afforded her the opportunity to set her own schedule and be there for the family. In 2012, she then reentered the commercial workforce and began her career with Amsted Rail working for the Griffin Wheel division out of Overland Park, KS.
Her love for the Dallas Cowboys was unwavering along with her love for family and friends. She lived life boldly, loved unconditionally and met no strangers.
A celebration of life is planned for March 7, 2026 at Bluff City Grill from 1 p.m. - 6 pm. We invite all those that knew her to come and share a story.
