Kristen L. Flom, age 42, of St. Louis, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Christian Northeast Hospital.
She was born May 6, 1974, in Tallahassee, FL, the daughter of Albert Flom and Diane (Scheeler) Ross.
Kristen was a homeschool educator as well as a member of H.E.L.P.S., a homeschooling group.She enjoyed scrapbooking and crafts, photography, baking, and genealogy. Kristen enjoyed doing activities with her nieces and nephews. She was a member of Faith Church in St. Louis.
She is survived by her siblings and their spouses, Matthew and Melissa Flom of Naples, FL, Sarah and Jason Creek of St. Louis, Clinton Mayden of Alton, and Judy Mayden and her fiancée, Bobby Privett of St. Louis; eight nieces and nephews, Gabriella, Daniella, Sophia, Jace, Jade, Rinoah, Kammy, Caleb, and Makkaila; and her step-father, John Mayden.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her grandparents, Dexter Scheeler, Robert and Catherine Flom, and Evelyn and Phillip Mayden.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 10, 2016, from 1:00 pm until a Celebration of Life service at 4:00 pm at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton with Pastor Omar Morris officiating.
A private family interment will be held at a later date.
Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.
