Kristan Diana Schollmeyer, 36, went home to be with her son and heavenly Father at 9:55 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at her residence. She was born January 15, 1980 in Alton the daughter of Larry Bregenzer and Patricia (Wieneke) Winchell. On September 5, 2003 in Brighton she married Curtis Schollmeyer and he survives. Also surviving are four sons, Dominic Schollmeyer, Ryan N. Schollmeyer, Curtis “CJ” Schollmeyer Jr. and Ozzie M. Schollmeyer, four siblings, Jamie (Jim) Lafferty of Brighton, Tracy Bregenzer of Fieldon, Michelle (Marty) Marthis of Shipman and Keith (Jill) Bregenzer of Jerseyville. She was preceded in death by one son, Brandon Schollmeyer, her step-father, Bob Winchell, and special nieces and nephew, Leeann and Logan. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until time of funeral at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton with Pastor Jim keil officiating. Burial will be private.
