Kimberly Krug

Kimberly Susan Krug, 42, passed away at 5:44 am, Thursday May 11, 2017, with her family by her side.She was born November 5, 1974, in Alton, Illinois, the daughter of Michael C. Krug and Deborah A. (LaMarsh) Womack.Kimberly was an accountant for Husch Blackwell for 18 years.  In high school she was a member of The National Honors Society.  She graduated from McKendree University with degrees in both business and accounting, while in college she was in the sorority Alpha Phi Omega and a Congressional Scholar of Young Leaders.  She was also a who’s who of college graduates.  She was an assistant Boy Scout leader of Troop 97 in Grafton, sang in the choir Seasons of Life, and she enjoyed spending time with seniors.  Kimberly loved her dog Sweet Pea and was a second mother to her younger brothers.Kimberly is survived by her father, Michael, and was raised by her mother, Deborah, and step father Edward L. Womack Sr. of Grafton; Twin sister Candace and her spouse Crystal Krug of Alton; two brothers Edward Womack Jr. of Roxana and Joseph and his spouse Samantha Womack of St. Peters, MO; Paternal grandparents Sandra Krug of Godfrey and Clayton and his spouse Paulette Krug of Godfrey; aunt and uncle Candace and Dan Sutton.She was preceded in death by her Maternal grandparents Edward and Norma LaMarsh; uncle Edward R.
